Using Layers

Certain boards support layers, which let you organize and view components on multiple levels of the board. When layers are available, use the layer toggle to switch between them and place pedals or power supplies on different layers.

Toggle Layers

When layers are available, the layers toggle button will appear in the bottom-right of the pedalboard builder's canvas.

The active layer is indicated by the name of the layer in the layer toggle. The sidebar also groups the pedals and power supplies by their layer so you can easily see which items are on which layer.

When you add an item to your pedalboard, it will be assigned to the currently active layer. For instance, if the upper tier of a board is active, any pedal you add will be considered part of the upper tier.

Switch Between Layers

When you add an item to a pedalboard, it will be assigned to the currently active layer. You can move an item to a different layer by right clicking the item (or double tapping on mobile) and selecting "Move to Layer" from the context menu or by clicking the more options icon on the product tile in the sidebar and selecting "Move to Layer".
