Getting Started
This page will guide you through the basics features of the pedalboard builder and have you building your first pedalboard in no time.
Name Your Pedalboard
When you start a new pedalboard, you can click the name of the pedalboard in the top right of the sidebar and give it a name. By default, it says "New Pedalboard".
Tag Your Pedalboard
In the sidebar, click "Add Tags" to label your pedalboard according to the genre of music you play or other characteristics.
Patch Cable Settings
In the sidebar, click the patch cable icon to select the type of patch cable you want to use for your pedalboard. This will determine how much space is displayed between pedals by the cable space guidelines. There are currently two options: standard angle cables and flat angle cables which have a smaller profile.
The "cable space" icon in the bottom-right of the pedalboard canvas can be toggled to show the cable space guidelines so you can easily see if your pedals will fit on your board or not. If the borders around the pedal are green, you've left enough space for the cables, if the borders are red, your pedals are too close.
Adding Items
You can add a board, pedals, or power supplies to your pedalboard by clicking into the product icons in the top menu.
From the menu, simply click on the product you want to add. You can either search for a specific product or browse the products by the different categories that are displayed.
See the discover gear page for more information on how to find the gear you want to add to your pedalboard.
Custom Boards and Pedals
You may come across a board, pedal or power supply that isn't in our database. For this reason, the app allows you to add custom pedals and boards to your pedalboard. To do so, click the link for "Custom Boards" or "Custom Pedals" within the pedal or board menu.

Rotating Items
Any pedal or power supply can be rotated by either right clicking the item (or double tapping on mobile) and selecting "Rotate" from the context menu or by clicking the more options icon on the product tile in the sidebar and selecting "Rotate".
